11 months oh my!

Ya I am behind...a weeks worth of sickness has done that to me.

In one month my boy will be 1 can you imagine that. Where did this year go. It has been full of fun, love, laughter, tears, milestones and hope.
After 11 months with you Brycen it is hard to imagine what life was like without you here with us.
:: The boy loves books, coloring, gadgets, and eating everything off the floor from crayons to paper pieces to dust bunnies oeww!
:: He is still cruising the furniture, and has taken steps but has not started walking yet.
:: He can stand unassisted and dance in place...very funny to watch!
:: He adores his sister...he cant get enough of her and he sure is a momma's boy. That is not to say he doesn't love his dad, because he sure loves to play with him.
:: He is still a crappy sleeper and some how we managed to end up a co sleeping family...which is not ideal for me because I sleep in silly positions but at least I sleep.
:: Brycen has 4 teeth as of now and he only started teething at 10 months!
:: Brycen is eating all of our food and his favorites are steak, potatoes, pasta and cheese!

Happy 11 months wee man we love you and hope you have enjoyed your time with us as much as we have enjoyed our time with you.

and then there was 4.....

Teeth that is! The other top one has cut!
Now if I could just get some pics without him freaking out for the camera.
Which reminds me.....this boy is obsessed with gadgets from phones, to computers, to cameras. Anything with buttons he needs to have!

Sugar Bush!

Last weekend before the sickness hit we went to Stanley's Sugar Bush with Ben and Christine, Josh and Amanda and all the kids. It seems to be becoming a tradition as we did this last year as well. The kids had a blast, the pancake breaky is good and it seems very fitting for the season!

Good and Bad!

Bad: The kids aren't well enough for it to be a typical Friday!
Good: Both of the kids slept in till 7:30 this morning and we didn't have to wake up to the alarm.

Bad: Daddy had to go to work and was gone all day.
Good: Well it's money right!!!!

Bad and Good: Both kids vegged on the couch all day, giving me plenty of snuggles which is rare...from Miss.B.

Bad: We didn't get to enjoy the beautiful weather this week as both kids were to sick to get out of the house/
Good: More great weather is on it's way and we will enjoy it then!

Good: Both of my babes are on the mend, eating slightly and drinking regularly. The vomiting is gone, the poops are going and there energy is returning a little each day!
Bad: I guess it takes my girl to be seriously ill in order for her to cuddle and veg!!

Rotavirus stinks....

Literally! My poor babies have been so so sick. We are going on day 4 and we have only just started on the mend. We have been to the hospital 3x in these 4 days, we have changed countless poopy diapers and pants we have cleaned up more vomit and slept on the floor in Brooklyn's room and in the living room enduring many sleepless nights. All in the name of love I tell you, but it hasn't pretty or fun. It has been stressful, nerve racking and down right scary. All I know for sure is I pray my babies never ever have to go through that again.

Whoo hoo

Remember that post 2 months ago about me wanting a gym membership......well thanks to my Bro and a few connections he scored me a really great monthly price! So I am officially a gym membership owner yet again. I went last night and it was great!
So manifesting does work, not always immediately or exactly as thought out but it does. :-)

Trying Three's!!

I think we have officially hit this phase and it is exactly as it called. TRYING!! Trying on my patience, my nerves, my sanity, my sobriety LOL!
Seriously the games, the drama, some days it all just makes me want to scream. For some reason it bothers me more then it gets to Jeff. Which is sad because now I am ALWAYS the bad guy and daddy is always "My hero".
Oh well I am sure this is just a prep lesson for those even more trying teenage years! Let me make sure I have the keg ready the day she turns 13. I am going to need it.
