Bless her heart!!

Well Brooklyn had her first real birthday party to go to yesterday. it was for her "best friend" Kassia's 3rd bday and it was at Gym Tale. Mommy screwed up the time and thought it was from 1-3 we showed up at 12:50 and find out it is ending in 10 minutes. I was so worried Brooklyn would be bummed so we quickly found Kassia. They chased each other through the slides for 15 minutes then loot bags were handed out. Brooklyn was in her glory. We went home! I asked Brooklyn if she had fun at her first party and she said "Yes mommy it was so much fun!" LOL she never knew the difference hahahaha!!!

Happy Birthday to my baby boy!

It is almost 3 years to the day I was mourning the eve of my big girls first birthday and now I am doing it for my little man. Where has the time gone?! I remember being told about time lying once you have children but I didn't understand the full extent of that saying. Now I understand it and it is sad to think that soon my babies will be o to school and then of to college, then parents (hopefully) all in a blink of an eye. It is a blessing and a joy to have babies and it is bittersweet how quickly they grow.

At 1
::Is about 27 lbs
::LOVES to feed himself with a spoon and bowl and still loves to eat.
::Is walking and almost running.
::He loves music and dancing
::He is very bright, he can bring me things on command ie. his sippy cup, a spoon ect.
::Can quack like a duck, moo like a cow, and woof like a dog!
::Claps to pattycake"
::Loves to cuddle with just about anyone
::Loves momma cuddles!
::SMILES and LAUGHS all the time !
::Loves to splash in water until it is gone! (yes, it is a very wet bath time)

Where has the time gone....

Seriously it feels like only yesterday I was mourning the loss of my baby girl as she entered into toddler hood and now I am doing it with my baby boy. I have been so blessed with 2 amazing children, who are healthy and for the most part happy. I cant believe that 1 year ago today I was walking the neighborhood trying to bring out my baby boy. Now my baby boy is walking the neighborhood. *SNIFF SNIFF*
We love you Brycen boy, you have blended into this family so perfectly and we couldn't imagine life without you. Mommy, daddy and Brooklyn love you bubbs!!! xoxo

Easter

What a great day! The kids had a blast on their Easter egg hunts, brunch with grammy and aunt Jody was excellent and the weather was perfect for playing outside. We really couldn't of asked for a better day. I am so blessed!

Slacking off!

I know I know I have been slacking off. It is the weather that's causing this, it has been so gorgeous this year. We have temps in the 20's and this weekend for Easter it will hit 26. I love Spring! Especially a warm perfect summer spring.
It has been a busy week with painting egg's and doing our Easter Crafts and getting out all the summer stuff from the shed!! Brooklyn wakes up every morning asking if it is summer yet! She is really looking forward to swimming in her little pool.
Just for a moment I am reminded one year ago today I was still pregnant and I had and almost 2 year old. Now i have an almost 1 year old and a almost 3 year old. Wow, time flies when you are busy making plans!!!
